We at AustriaTech

Aug 12, 2022

A look behind the scenes: 60 employees in eight teams and three staff units form the centre of AustriaTech. This brings together a variety of personalities who all pull together. This diversity combines mobility with openness, tolerance and cohesion.

Mobility and flexibility

The issue of sustainable mobility is not only a priority within AustriaTech's four walls, but also on the way there. More than 95 percent of employees use bicycles, walk or use public transport to get to work. In addition to mobility, there is a strong focus on flexibility in one's own working rhythm. The flexitime system at AustriaTech ensures individual and flexible time management - whether for early wormers or late risers. All of this creates the foundation on which AustriaTech works. Whether in small projects such as "Prio Austria" or the "SHOW" project, which involves 70 partners from 13 EU countries, with the help of flexibility and mobility, AustriaTech can use its expertise for sustainable mobility solutions effectively and efficiently.

The starting signal for the future

In order to guarantee more sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility, AustriaTech is already investing today in tomorrow. Promoting young talent is an important aspect of this in order to set the creative and innovative minds of the future on their path. For this reason, AustriaTech has employed a total of 20 interns between 2020 and 2021, 14 of whom have been taken on in a direct permanent position. With the help of this experience, the future mobility experts can prepare themselves for the upcoming challenges of climate neutrality and digitalisation, so that the future is in good hands.
