Monthly updates on figures, data & facts in electromobility - now with expanded content and a new design.

The year 2019 begins with a new look and extended content. The monthly Factsheet "Facts and Figures on Electriomobility in Austria" has been revised by our experts and will now provide even more information on electric mobility. Together with the BMVIT, AustriaTech offers with this monthly publication a compact and continuous overview of current developments, trends and the latest figures on electromobility. The publications can be found on AustriaTech's homepage and, as usual, under this link.

What were the developments in January 2019?

 

In the first month of the year there were 507 new BEV (Battery electric vehicle) registrations in Austria, which represents an increase of 26 percent compared to January 2018. The total number of battery electric cars increased to 21,300. Styria was the top federal state for new BEV registrations with 97 electric cars. The most popular electric car in January was the BMW i3.
